Washington State

Updated 7/99

One General Railway Signal Company style 2A, single arm, upper-quadrant semaphore. This signal is from Eastern Washington and of Northern Pacific heritage . Like most NP semaphores, it is powered by a base-of-the-mast mechanism. The semaphore was operable when removed from service roughly 15 years ago and is still 100% complete with a full set of lenses. However, the signal is in it's original condition as received from the BN, and thus is in need of some basic restoration. PRICE $1000 SOLD IN ONE DAY!!!! 7/14/99 (see below) All interested individuals or institutions should contact: Jim Graverholt 14616 62nd Ave. N.W. Stanwood, WA 98292 All serious inquires should consider their own means of transportation. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dear Eric, Thanks for posting my semaphore at I got a call about it the next day and sold it. Some people in California own an old RR station and were looking for an appropriate lawn ornament. Good to see it have a home. Thanks for your effort. Jim Graverholt
